This was a day I got soaked, climbing up Jacobs Ladder to Kinder Scout, the highest peak in Derbyshire. It was up here that in 1932, people fought with landowners for a right to roam in wild places in England. I'm glad they did, for it is a beautiful, wild, and sometimes dangerous place to wander in, especially in winter.

This is so beautiful. I love the misty atmosphere and the fact that it's not a typical sunny landcape shot. I'd say it's worth getting soaked for a view and shot like this.

That is such a stunningly beautiful place, and well worth a soaking. I must admit I am envious; my immediate surroundings are dominated by concrete and my horizons are ruined by telephone wires and high voltage line towers.

Excellent work Richard, your use of light and colour here is very impressive. Getting soaked was definitely worth it just to capture this scene!
