This image was taken in the Ossuary in Sedlec in The Czech Republic.
I have visited the Ossuary a few times, always in the depths of winter, and it is one of the most stange, but fascinating religious monuments I have visited. There are 40000 people buried in the grounds, and several thousand bones are displayed in the church.

I know everyone says wow.. but really Richard.. WOW!! OUTSTANDING! Great treatment of a somewhat "icky" fact of life. And how bizaare to see how other cultures had dealt with this part of life..
