I took this shot sitting by a lake near Islamabad in Pakistan. The Flying Foxes were hanging from a nearby tree, and towards evening, when it got a bit cooler, went flying out to find food. Behind this one, at the upper right is a House Crow, which, in comparison, is dwarfed by this oversized bat.

Great image! I didn't realize the size of this flying foz until you mentioned that the bird behind it was a crow! Love the light behind the flying fox- fascinating image!
