Dovedale is a wierd and magical place, like an unearthly setting out of a Tolkein story. It is a deep limestone gorge that runs for several miles between towering rocks and cliffs and dark forested slopes.
Years ago I camped wild there with a mate of mine, and all night we witnessed strange occurances that to this day I cannot explain.
I took this shot of one of the tall rock stacks some weeks back.
