From a previous visit to the Red Sea in Egypt. This camel went through my camp, and then ran off down the beach with a bag of bread and one of my walking boots whilst I was taking a dip in the sea. I gave chase and got them back fortunately, although it had chewed and 'gobbed' on both. I took its photo (for identification purposes of course). The next day, the heel fell off the boot, and weevils hatched in the bread (yuk)
In this image i used a polarizing filter, it is shot on 35mm slide film, but after scanning, almost no PP - the sky really did come out that intense.

FAB story Richard!! You've had quite the adventures. The sky is just perfect and the camel looks beyond smug. Love the angle of this shot on the camel but also how the background came out. Wonderful!

I like the angle. I've not used a polarizer in years, but I remember a time when it always made sense to have it when the sun was up. Incidentally this weekend, I popped into the local photoshop looking for a used one. They sadly had sent them all to ebay for sale :(
