This shot was taken May 2006 at SantaPod, and the bad weather had stopped all racing, so I concentrated on some cameo shots and interesting shot elements with my lens set at 12mm. In this shot I was amused by the people battling through the storm with umbrellas lowered, as well as the arrangement of colour and light

The contrast between the black sky and the brilliant colors of the car is very good

Most FABU!! How great to use the 12mm to get that great elongated nose on the funny car!! The background of storm clouds is a great parallel to the car.

Neat shot! It's almost as if the rev of the car is blowing the people away. The bright red against the dark and gloom of the day certainly make the car stand out.
