This is my narrowboat 'irene', named after the Greek Goddess of peace and spring.
Although 'Irene' is my second home, I spent more time on the water than on dry land last winter, and love being on the river, and the slow pace of travel between the various public houses one finds along canals.
I'm going to be away for a few days, so will catch up with everyones blogs early next week. Thanks for any comments in advance

How i wish i could have such peaceful life, and right in the arms of nature - away from the hoo haa of the city life. Nice shot pal.
