Beautiful composition Richard. What a lovely setting. while away, I saw the stranges site of a windmill, in the middle of a row of Georgian/Victorian 3 storey terraced houses, I really regret not captureing it now! :(

@MaryB: Thats interesting. I'm going up to Whitby to see some relatives later this year, so I'll go and check it out in Scarborough
ps I've just searched about this Windmill and it's now part of a hotel! not sure if it is of interest to you Richard but if it is, it's the windmill hotel, Scarborough :)

@Walt: Just behind me was a broads waterway, and the boats were dragged up on the bank

Such a wonderful, scenic take. All the boats and the windmill, plus the countryside and sky colors make for a very pretty photo.

Lovely image and composition! The blues on the boat and sky really give this image a nice look. I could easily see this pic on a calender. Good job!

Another lovely summer image. The colours are so vibrant! Mind you, I'd like to see the top of the windmill, too. I'm guessing you wanted the boats in the foreground more.. ;-)
