This shot was taken in The Medieval Bishops Palace in Lincoln, and shot straight into the sun, which was behind the plume of cloud that appears to stream straight from the curve of the palace walls.

the contrast of colours is great here!
the bright sky reminds me of the contrasting dark sky after the A-bomb was dropped on Hirosima today 62 years ago...
watched a sad documentary about it... may it never happen again... then our skies will always be beautifully bright and blue like in this shot!
