This is a shot looking into Edale in Englands Dark Peak District.
This is a late summer shot, taken a couple of weeks back, but I posted another shot of the same valley back on March 21st, which gives an interesting contrast.

I really love the contour of this valley and the way it draws the eye to the country beyond. Lovely light, color, and shading. Wonderful pic!

Truly breathtaking, Richard. I like the way you've captured the play of light and shadow over this vast landscape. And as Brian also observed, the depth of this shot, leading us out to that vale beyond is just awesome. Thank you also for the narrative in your picture of 21 March especially concerning the historical events in 1932.

Wow!So beautiful!
I love the way the hills overlap. The shade that the clouds produce can clearly be seen on the landscape. Your composition is minimal as well as perfect. Good job!
