Arbor Low

Arbor Low is a neolithic stone henge, which was constructed 4500 years ago. It lies on the upland limestone whitepeak area of Derbyshire not far from my hometown. On a clear day, you can see for miles, but in poor weather it it a very bleak place.

Although its not as familiar as Stonehenge or Avebury, Arbor Low is an impressive stone circle. But unlike Stonehenge, the 59 huge stones here are layed out flat, a bit like a clockface.

Many people claim is an important mystical site with many Ley lines running across it.
