Artistically cropped and presented! 2 Dec 2007 11:54am martie from Okinawa, JapanHow do you do it? Each day I think that your image is the best yet, and then the following day you excel again! This is awesome. 2 Dec 2007 12:38pm @martie: Thankyou for your kind comment. the original photo was quite flat, as it was a plain grain day when I took it. The result you see has had some PP in Photoshop, where I narrowed the contrast range (drawing in the tone sliders in Levels), increased the colour saturation (using hue, saturation command), a tiny bit of sharpening with unsharp mask, and then completing the image with the dodge and burn tools. I am aiming for a more graphic textile type of effect, so the final result (not the one shown here) is being aimed at creating a print on cotton and other cloths, so it will eventually have the dry brush effect added. Harald from Frankfurt am Main, GermanyVery impressive. Beautiful contrast and colors. 2 Dec 2007 1:06pm kairospix from Singapore, Singaporewow! awesome colours! 2 Dec 2007 1:43pm Amir from ?, IranReally really outstanding shot, the sharpness, focus and saturation is beyond me 2 Dec 2007 5:30pm @Amir: Thankyou Amir, your kind comment is highly appreciated. amy from Rocky Mountain House, CanadaAbsolutely outstanding Richard!!!
