It seems to have rained a lot this January. I took this shot in Newark. The River Trent was about a meter higher than normal, and getting close to bursting its banks.

That fast water looks exciting, Richard. It looks like the kind of place attractive to kayakers. A nice one.

Great capture of the white water! Very powerful image.

I really like this photo! The water where it is most turbulent looks almost like stone to me and to the right like glass...what a neat contrast! Well done!
