Driftwood

Piled up like matchwood, this timber has washed ashore across miles of our southern coastline after a container ship sank. This shot was taken in Brighton. There were crowds collecting the wood off the beach, despite the authorities threatening to fine those caught. My guess is that all along the south of England, there will be new picket fences, garden sheds, and Go-Karts being made over the next few weeks......
