It's delving into some distant archives for me, this image taken at the Pyramids at Giza on slide film in 1984.

Really interesting effects here. I'm glad you're going back to the archives to show us, but I fear it means your back still isn't well. Hang in there.

@GJC: Thanks for your comment, I'm not yet fully fit, but I'm getting out and about ok, and hope to be out with my camera this weekend.
lovely image. There is something about these pyramids in the midst of the bare and barren desert that i find beautiful.

@Rags: Thanks Rags, for me the darker stones that make up the pyramids give a lovely contrast against the light desert sands. The slide has not fared that well over the years, and has lost some of its original colour, so I have had to go for the more 'vintage' look using Photoshop. I'm not totally happy with the quality of the sharpness in the scan I made, so I'm going to do it again today.
Great composition, Richard. Excellent photo.

It's very historical, I like the finish, it makes it look authentic, as if taken centuries ago when colour was present in photo and Atlanta was blooming ...I wouldn't change it... Back better?

Amazing and special sky! I like the contrast between the sand and the sky. Moreover the obscure horizon is wonderful!
