The Nottingham Eye

The colors are delightful and more than that I love the composition, especially how you've got the big letters in the fairground (very reminiscent of fairgrounds) and then the nice high arc. Very well seen.

@GJC: Thanks. The exposure range was huge, so I had to select the differently lit parts of this image and adjust the levels and colour in them all. In the original, the lower part was really too dark, the sky too bright, but I enjoyed the Photoshop challenge.

@Daniel: I think tt was named the Nottingham Eye to compare or attract those who are aware of the big London attraction 'The London Eye'. Its moved on now to other UK cities, but it was a popular attraction, so I'm sure it will return.

Beautiful shot - great perspective and detail! Thank you for your nice comments on my blog a couple of days or so ago. I am a bit behind with posting and thanks because I had some medical appointments to keep. Then went to the Golf Course for the afternoon. Was worth it - got some great springtime pics there!
