This beautiful stretch of beach goes on for miles. It was empty during my visit (probably due to the heavy rain), but I guess it would get quite busy on a sunny day

love this expansive beach scene -- tranquil and solitary... but proud and majestic. love this composition with the white wash ebbing in from the left and the run off coming from the lower right... the washed up clumps of seaweed bring the eye back successfully into the picture just below the wonderful horizon and overcast sky.. gorgeous shot -- magnificent feel!! bravo!

@dj.tigersprout: I really loved that beach, even the crazy amount of rain that kept sweeping in added to the feeling of wild nature in its raw beauty.

Your Wales series is stirring, Richard ... I'm inspired by the rugged and pristine beauty. I love the wide, expansive view you've given us in this photo, and a quiet walk along a beautiful, broad beach is always a welcome thought for me ... even if only in a photograph!

Indeed a magnificent stretch of beach, as good as anything anywhere. Do I detect two figures walking by the sand dunes..? Excellent and balanced shot.

beautiful shot Richard: you've had some stunning landscapes recently. you've captured the perfect curve of water and tide mark, great compositional lines pulling one into the picture and toward the hill in the distance. lovely light too.
