Today I visited the high moors a few miles to the north of where I live. It was a fine day with sunshine, something thats been rare this summer in England.

I tasked myself to capture some details of the place, in the nature of sun & heather & rock. This next series will run for several days. All images were taken on a Nikon D70, but as I was looking for images that would fit into square frames, many of the images have been subsequently cropped that way in Photoshop.
