Peak Path

A sandy footpath across the moors. In the distance hills, is the start (or finish) of The Pennine Way, a long distance wilderness walkway, which snakes its way north for 429km.

@Alun Lambert: Thanks. I was up on the hills above Derwent Water; the image is looking west at the Kinder Scout plateaux, where many walkers join the Pennine Way at Edale.

@Craig: Thanks Craig; Me too, to walk that long trek along the spine of England has always been an ambition of mine. It normally takes around two weeks to walk this route in summer.
