Lessons in Floating

I am unsure how this statue stays up, as it is made of bronze which has been painted. It appears to float above the garden.

I love how the artist uses "size" alone to highlight his image. It is very unusual. But, what you have done is equally great by capturing his artwork in the surrounding area. I normally don't like to comment on photos of others artwork because I get confused as to who the artist really is. But, in this case I can say with enthusiasm that it is both of you! Well done Richard!

@Craig: Thankyou. After showing two close-up details previously, I only felt it fair to show the whole thing, as it puts a perspective to its size, and also because it is quite an amazing piece of work that the sculpture has created.

@Namaki: Thankyou. I am lucky in that I live only 15 km from Chatsworth, so I can choose a sunny day to visit.
