Zygène from FranceWaouh, la photo prise avec un peu de recul est vraiment superbe. 17 Oct 2008 5:19am Alun Lambert from cheshire, United KingdomEven better, great against the blue sky 17 Oct 2008 5:34am Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomStrange how the transparency of this makes it seem so spiritual . . like it is of the elements themselves. Again, well presented with the camera. 17 Oct 2008 7:56am zOOm from Paris, FranceGreat title... poetically associated with this sculpture... 17 Oct 2008 8:48am Betty from New Jersey, United StatesFantastic composition... the white sculpture against that blue sky! Very well done! 17 Oct 2008 9:39am Craig from Vacaville, California, United StatesLove the light and background here Richard! 17 Oct 2008 11:34am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaHow amazing...spectacular and what a find on your part, 'cause I've never seen anything like this! 17 Oct 2008 11:59am Earnest from Oklahoma, United StatesThis is a standout photo, Richard... and as one who generally disdains modern sculpture, I have to admit that I really like this one. 17 Oct 2008 12:20pm António Pires from Lisbon, PortugalBetter than the previous one. The sculpture looks better too, like a cloud. 17 Oct 2008 12:40pm Evelyne Dubos from Le Mans, FranceThis great and original white sculpture makes a nice contrast with the vivid blue of the sky, well done. 17 Oct 2008 2:56pm Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceBeautiful shot of this nice sculpture. Could you give us some more shots ? 17 Oct 2008 4:38pm NADINE DERUYCK from KLUISBERGEN, BelgiumVERY NICE SCULPTURE!!!Who is it from and where is this taken.???AND : how big is this???? 17 Oct 2008 6:31pm @NADINE DERUYCK: It is called 'House of Knowledge' by the artist Jaune Plensa. It stands around 20 meters tall I guess, so its quite a big piece. You can go inside and view the letters from within its inner space supposedly, but it was fenced off when I saw it, so could only shoot from the outside space. its currently at Chatwworth House in Derbyshire, England. Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomIt really is quite complex, and this shot gives a greater view. Wonderful. 17 Oct 2008 11:54pm JJ from Jersey City, United StatesI would never have guessed from yesterdays shot that the letters made this shape, wonderful perspective to have the sculpture highlights by the beautiful blue sky, very cool 18 Oct 2008 1:12am amy from Nanaimo, BC, CanadaDefinitely an amazing sculpture.. NICELY done, Richard!! The pov says it all. 18 Oct 2008 2:55am dj.tigersprout from San Bruno, CA, United Statesjust awesome -- for some reason it remind me of Henry Moore... my favorite sculpture in the world!! gorgeous work -- both yours and the original artist!! ;) 19 Oct 2008 1:58am |
