Funny how Midas has been at work...This one tree is gold, but all the trees around it were still fully green.

Excellent image Rich, the colours look very natural - a good control over the contrast or maybe the sun was fading gives a good result.

I know what you mean Richard, we went for a walk yesterday to Cannock Chase, and there was a real mix of green leaved trees along with the autumn coloured ones. The strangest thing though was that the rhodedendrons (sp?) were in bud and flower, not just the odd one or two but masses of them! at the end of October, really odd.
