Little Wave

Taken on the Lincolnshire coast, using a graduated blue filter above and a graduated grey filter below. This image was taken some time back. I'm archiving some work at the moment and came across some shots I hadn't payed much attention to, so they are on their way through Photoshop.

Elegant composition and lovely colors. I, too, sometimes go back through old photos and ones I used to think were terrible aren't so bad, and the ones I was proud of look dreadful. I'm looking forward to more from your archive.

@JJ: Thanks. I just use the fairly cheap COKIN filters, which fit into a filter holder you attach to the front of the lens. Easy to work with, and quite fun too. I picked all mine up off Ebay a couple of years ago, got a mystery pack of around 50 assorted filters from a shop clearance, and been using them ever since.

Beautiful!! I just looked up Belper on Google Earth and discovered that you're just down the road from a friend's childhood home in Derby (he lives in New Jersey, now).
