Rags from Plano, United StatesBeautiful and very well composed. I really like the tint in the image. 1 Dec 2008 6:50am Lorraine from Gatineau, CanadaCheck that out, wow, fantastic close-up, tell me Richard, did you play with the colours, or was this the actual tone? Either way, it's superb! 1 Dec 2008 1:21pm @Lorraine: Totally natural...... and it was the most pleasantly coloured pool of cattle slurry sewage I have ever seen. However, its smell didn't match its colour.... especially after several hours in a hide. Bookfool from Vicksburg, United StatesI was going to ask about the colors, too. Did you tint this, or is it natural? I love the composition. 1 Dec 2008 1:36pm @Bookfool: It is the natural colour. It was actually a slurry pond by a cattle farm. Anthony Lambert from Bielefeld, GermanyLooks like he´s feeling a little lonely.Nice image. 1 Dec 2008 2:40pm MaryB from Staffordshire, United KingdomWhat a beautiful photograph Richard, I would never have guessed it was in the setting you described. 1 Dec 2008 8:23pm @Earnest: Thanks. It was shot at a slurry pond, which was full of blue-green algai, but the strong light created the colour. I shot this on Kodachrome 35mm slide film using a Nikon FM2 and a 400mm lens. JJ from Jersey City, United StatesBeautiful capture, interesting the colors in the slurry pond sounds like a case where i am glad the photos dont have smellyvision LOL 2 Dec 2008 12:12am Lorraine from Gatineau, Canadareally seriously ohohoh gross lol you wouldn't think, the colour is so smashing lol 2 Dec 2008 5:33pm |
