@Earnest: Thankyou Earnest. I like your comment a lot. I find that using B&W film gives me greater creativity with the way I look at the world through the lens. With my digital SLR, I find the attention is always towards colour shots.....but popping an FP4 or HP5 in my Film SLR creates a different approach, or mindset, and I take very different images.

I agree with Earnest. Here is the reason why I (still) like so much the "old" BW film. There details that the digital is still not able to reproduce! Fantastic Richard.

Incredible landscape/treescape. The 'silver' birch are really living up to their reputation in this shot, their trunks and branches shimmering. I love how the top branches in the darker area are so huddled together. Great shot.
