RestingPosted by Richard Irwin (Belper, United Kingdom) on 28 February 2009 in Plant & Nature. A close up following yesterday's shot. I used a new 'all singing, all dancing' zoom lens that arrived in the post a couple of weeks back (it goes 43mm - 465mm on a digital SLR camera) for these last two shots; its not the best lens by any stretch of the imagination, but having that range in one lens is rather novel for me, as I normally use a 35-70, or stick to primes. The macro close up of the Snowdrop that I posted a couple of days back was taken with an absolutely superb 50mm prime macro lens.
