This is a remarkable sculpture of the fasting buddha, which I photographed in Lahore Museum, Pakistan many years ago. I've added some colour and background in Photoshop.
Wow, Richard, this is indeed quite a find. Certainly a very different image of Buddha, pretty unlike the usual ones that we see nowadays. And probably closer in looks to the original man, Gautama Buddha, I would imagine. Wonderfully historical.
