After Fireworks Night

In the UK there is a fireworks night that is celebrated on 5th November every year. Although the origins of the celebration are quite horrific, including plots, lies, conspiracies, state led murder and other unsavory acts, as a child I remember, like every other kid, creating grotesque effigies of poor old Guy Fawkes, and traipsing the streets asking strangers for 'a penny for the guy', before he was burned on a huge bonfire on November 5th.
