Turning 9 Times

Posted by
Richard Irwin (Belper, United Kingdom) on 17 December 2013 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

'On camera' multiple exposure using the tiny Pentax Q camera. No Photoshop trickery on these, everything is done at the time of shooting.

Added Note: I took this by taking 9 exposures whilst turning a full 360 degrees around one maple leaf. Each exposure was taken with a -3 stops exposure value, so each successive image builds on the last building up to the correct exposure at shot 9. I basically experimented until I found the negative exposure compensation that worked. I also set the camera to shoot with a desaturated colour palette, but I'm going to try doing some future shots with colour saturation up high and see what happens.
